I play this game with my friends all the time and I need to know all of your answers because I think it will make me laugh! So, blog friends, answer the following question for me….
If a song came on every time you entered a room, what would it be? Imagine you walking into a room, time stands still, everyone turns to look at you as you walk in, and a song comes on loud enough for everyone to hear. What is that song?
My “walk into the room song” is “Walking on Sunshine” by Katrina and the Waves. Cheesy? Yes! So much fun? Yes!

Hard question! I guess mine would be “I Hope You Dance” by Leeann Womack. It’s a reminder to get up and live your life and stop watching it pass by from the sidelines. After a very good friend of mine died I felt the message of this song in ways I can’t describe. It’s because of this song that the tattoo on my ankle bears the chinese symbol for the word “dance.” Each time any member of my family or extended family hear this song, they all say they think of me. [Sorry for the long rambling explanation.]
Oh my goodness, I would totally want Little Red Corvette by Prince – I drive a corvette (sadly, not a red one), and work in the automotive industry, plus, I’m a sucker for 80s music.
“Jump for my Love” by the Pointer Sisters. Hands down. Didn’t even have to think about it.
This is embarassing to admit, but mine would be “You’re so Vain” — I am always looking in the mirror ! Not because I think I am so gorgeous — I just love to look in the mirror!

The first two that popped into my head were She’s Fresh and These Boots Were Made for Walking.

Everytime that song comes on, I scream “Ohhh this is MY song!!!”

Mine would definitely be “Everyday” by Buddy Holly. I have always loved this song––it always puts me in a good mood with the “ding ding” going on in the background.
Mine would have to be “Bitch” by Meredith Brooks!!! But I bet if you ask my husband he would say “Gold Digger” by Kanye West.

My vote would be “I’m Moving On” by Rascal Flatts…I know this song is incredibly sad but it honestly speaks to the core of me. I could listen to it on repeat for hours…For a more upbeat song I would have to say “Straight Up!” by Paula Abdul…LOVE her old stuff!!
BUT Mr. Mojito’s vote would be “She’s Got A Way With Me” by Billy Currington (our first dance song.
Okay – this is so because I LOVE music and can think of a thousand awesome songs. I have thought about what my theme song would be often because of one of my favorite shows – Ally McBeal! I loved how she would be walking down the street and hear her song. Anyway, I think the one I would pick right now might be “She” by Elvis Costello for a more contemplative moment and “Love Song for No one” by John Mayer because it is one of the first songs my hubby ever sang to me. There are too many too chose – I pretty much have a soundtrack for my life!

we did this in high school and i hated my high school song (“tears in heaven” since yes, i was known to be super emotional and cried a bit – oops!) new song – Hey There Delilah…I have an obsession with that song.
Oh my gosh you might be my favorite person ever! No one ever knows what “Walking on Sunshine” is! At my wedding we played “Over the Rainbow” as my dance with my Dad but then opened up the dance floor with “Walking on Sunshine” dedicated to my Dad — whenever it would come on as a kid I’d start giggling and we’d start dancing.

i can’t decide between crocodile rock by elton john (weird, i know) and here i go again by whitesnake (not that i am alone, but for some reason, that song has always spoken to the fiercely independent part of my spirit. i can be a loner in a good way!).
I don’t know why but once I dreamed I walked into an event and I came in to the song “Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi (one of my favorites). So yeah, that’s it!

When I taught English, I used to have my students divide their lives in chapters and do a soundtrack of their lives. Great fun! My song would have to be something by Diana Ross and the Supremes – maybe “Baby Love”.
