Your pantry looks absolutely fab! I love doing that once every few months-- it feels so great when you need something and everything has its' place! Hudson just keeps getting more adorable and I am so thrilled you all are able to get out of the house more often. Can't wait to see what this week brings! Happy Tuesday :)

That is so hilarious, because yesterday while my 7 week old was napping and dad was at work, I cleaned our our pantry...now it looks like we need to go grocery shopping again!

Hey there,
I don't know if you've read Baby Wise or Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child, but those books has been a lifesaver for our family. Basically its about EASY E-eat A-awake S-sleep Y-your time...making sure the baby doesn't learn to fall asleep at the breast / bottle and without props such as rocking *though I looove to rock my babies! or driving them around, etc. I love a schedule and these books support that. Both of my boys were sleeping 12 hours straight between 10-12 weeks w/ no crying at bedtime. It was so wonderful! We had challenges (and still do) with teething or sickness, but otherwise, both of them are excellent sleepers. Hope this helps! Hudson is adorable!!!!!!

My daughter is now 2 months, almost 10 weeks. She has been sleeping through the night for about 4 or 5 weeks (a 12 hour span). I am a huge schedule person. What I have found to be effective is to have a period in the morning (2 hours if possible, or more if the baby is up a lot) and than another 2 hour period at night. You may need to add another 2 hour period somewhere. It is like reverse napping for newborns. I also tryto give her a bottle between 9 and 10pm. If your breastfeeding some of this will be more difficult. Also ask your pediatrician about a little bit of cereal at night. AL's doctor told us she could have it at 4 weeks. We don't give it to her but it worked well for my 3 year old. I hope this might help you. Good luck!

Our son was formula fed after he was a month old, so that helped some. He also liked to sleep more than some of my friend's children from the get go. I think that 10 weeks to 3 months was the turning point for us. That is when Mac started sleeping from 8 pm - 10 pm, a final feeding and then 11 pm - 6 am. This was great for me, because I went back to work after 3 months. Then around 6 months he dropped the 10 pm feeding. We used the Baby Whisperer book. I loved it. Healthy Sleep Habits is another great book.
