Since we don’t have any kiddos yet, the candy usually stays by the front door in a big Halloween container for people to grab as they come and go, but that usually means I’m running to the front door each night for “dessert.”

I love all things chocolate! Really all candy in general… but M&Ms or Reeses or Snickers are always my faves. I buy a bag or two every year to fill my cute candy bowl and pretend like it’s for trick-or-treaters, but really, I don’t usually get any so I eat it all!

I LOVE ALL candy. Favorites are Banana Laffy Taffy and Reese’s PB cups! I also love Peanut Butter M&Ms and Sweedish Fish. Basically, Halloween is the only time of year I can keep candy around the house b/c I eat it up so quickly. Mmmm, candy! I love Tootsie Rolls! This year we got a variety of candy bars and decided to put out first the ones we don’t like and then gradually add more, so at least if we have leftovers they’ll be ones that we like. Ha ha!

I’ve been in an apartment for the last 5 years, so no trick or treaters for us. But I love to find a way to use leftover candy chopped up in sugar cookies or a similarly yummy single serve treat. That makes it easier to give away at the office

As far as candy goes…I am not a big sweets person…I would rather just eat bacon haha…but I do love candy corn and dots at Halloween time. When I was a kid I used to inventory my candy and make a little spreadsheet. I was a weird kid.

I love OLd Navy and candy so i couldn’t pass this up!! My husband and i have already eaten about half of the ‘phase one’ halloween candy, that the candy you buy for halloween and then eat before you can actually hand it out. Then there is the ‘phase two’ candy, which you actually give to the children. ‘phase three’ candy is the stuff you buy half off the day halloween. haha – whatever the phase I’m a big fan of the variety pack with lots of different kind of fun size candy!

I love Snickers & Take Five – the combo of salty & sweet is my favorite. I try to avoid buying my favorites to pass out to the kids on Halloween so that I won’t eat too much. Unfortunately, I bought two bags of candy this year before we decided we were going out on Halloween. Oops! Guess we’ll have to eat it.

We bought two HUGE bags of candy for trick-or-treaters from Sam’s two weekends ago. I’m trying my HARDEST to behave on the low carb thing…I’m so proud of myself for not attacking the bags with gusto. And amazingly enough, my husband has stayed away as well. I think he’s forgotten where we stored them….. Anyway, leftovers are going to our co-workers…leaving those leftovers here would be misery to my scale.

My favorite candy for Halloween (or anytime for that matter) is Reese’s PB Cups. I do buy them to give out at Halloween along with assorted chocolate bars. I never eat the Halloween candy before Halloween, but my husband does. I have to hide it from him or else I’m buying candy on Halloween day and then all that is left are DumDums.

Last year we bought two big bags of candy – Butterfinger (one of my faves) and Snickers (my husband’s fave). We got two trick-or-treaters…one of whom was a baby! The other was a very young boy dressed as a ninja who cowered adorably behind his mommy’s legs. We pretty much ate all of the candy ourselves. This year, I’m only buying one bag (definitely Butterfingers!)…but I’m going to try my hardest not to eat it! Maybe I should get something i don’t actually like…??

I LOVE HALLOWEEN CANDY! I buy way way way too many bags of it. In fact, this year I believe I’ve purchased at least 15 bags. I hide them in my closet so no one else can get them … and then for the next year I can have a little snack sized treat whenever I want. The more candy there is, the better my willpower is. When it gets down to a small amount, I just toss it in the trash. Tonight, my favorite is runts and heath bars. Last week, it was Dots!
I am in love with Dots candies… I dont know how popular they are, but I (unlike most Americans) am not a chocolate lover… so Dots are PERFECT!! I was so lucky because growing up I would always trade my younger siblings to give me their Dots in exchange for all my chocolate candy. I am sure they thought they were making out big time, but I love getting tons of boxes of my sweet, chewy candies! I usually try to avoid buying them because I would eat them all if I purchased them!

Kit Kats are my absolute favorite! When I get sick of any candy overflow at the house, I just take it in to work and it’s gone before the day is over.

My favorite Halloween candy is actually TWO different ones. I love Reeses Peanut Butter Cups too! YUM YUM!..I am also a candy corn lover! I just love that vanilla flavor! And when I was a kid.. I truly looked forward to what my MOM .made. to give out! Every Halloween, she would make popcorn balls.. ever had them? She made popcorn and then rolled it and covered it in some kind of glaze and formed it into quite good sized balls.. with a popsicle stick through the bottom to hold on to..and then wrapped them in saran-wrap. They were really delicious! But I still liked candy better!!

I try to get candy I don’t love to hand out so I don’t wake up covered in wrappers after bingeing late at night! I love gummi bears, twix, twizzlers, peanut butter cups- I’ve really never met a chocolate I didn’t like!
I take all the leftover chocolate (whether it be Twix or Snickers or whatever) and chop it up to put in brownies or in a trifle. All the non-chocolate (as in the ones I’m not interested in!) go to school for my prize box.

My favorite are definitely Three Musketeers! We don’t really get many trick-or-treaters yet we still buy several bags. I definitely don’t need to eat everything that we have left so I think I will take the leftover candy to school for my students.
I buy MY favorite candy for Halloween. I love Kit Kat and Twix bars. I always hide some of it from the trick-or-treat stash!

Recently I am obsessed with Almond Joy! I also had a Butterfinger mini the other day and it made me want a big one. I love chocolate!!
