holiday stationery

by Blue-Eyed Bride on November 10, 2009

Get excited! I’m about to talk about lots of pretty stationery that I just happen to love.

Our White Elephant Gift Exchange invitations:

I just ordered these from Tiny Prints. I’m in love with the modern design and bright colors. Ours obviously have our specific party information on them. I’m so excited to mail them out. And if you’re a future recipient of one of these invitations and you’re reading the blog, just act surprised when you receive yours in the mail!

Beautiful Christmas Cards from Minted:

Dearest Nina has already raved about Minted. Their cards, invitations, and stationery are truly wonderful!

And my favorite thing about Minted.com is the Yearline option for the cards. You can choose to have your card fold out and read like a timeline while using various photos from the year. It’s a great way to get the newsletter piece of your Christmas card without having to enclose an insert.

Budget-friendly Christmas cards from Vista Print:

The nice folks at Vista Print contacted me a few weeks ago about sending me 20 complimentary Christmas cards so I could give them a try. I immediately went to their website and the process was so easy! This is what I came up with! This was before we had our family photos taken, but I do love this photo of our precious boy and his monkey friend.

I have to say that while the designs at Vista Print aren’t as great as those at Tiny Prints or Minted, you can’t beat the prices at Vista Print. If you already have a gorgeous photo and it’s ready to go, this is a great option for you! The 20 that I received are glossy and I would trade that out for a matte card.

The turn around time was super fast and the customer service was great!

Our choice for Christmas cards 2009:

We decided to have the wonderfully talented Tracy Turpen design our cards this year using the photos from our session a couple of weeks ago. I love Tracy’s holiday card samples. Ours will be similar, but we’ve requested just a couple of changes. I’m so excited!

LOVE the elephant (obvi)! Can’t wait to see your Christmas card design… I’m currently struggling with ours!

So cute!!! I love that picture of the little man and his monkey. I am sure your Christmas cards are going to turn out wonderfully. It helps that you guys are such a precious family ;-)

Thank you! Last year I sent out 100+ Crane cards, and while gorgeous I don’t want to spend quite so much this year. I found a gorgeous card on Vistaprint that I love and of course I just got my wedding photos back- I’m so excited. Thanks for your advice though, I will definitely order them in matte print. Thanks!

I suppose now that I’m hitched I need to start sending Christmas cards. . . or I can just wait til I have kids! I design our family’s x-mas chili party invite every year- I’ll post the new version for this year. Love the white elephant party one!

I really love the timeline option with the Minted cards. Allowing a true personal touch to be as elegant as the rest of the card is genius.

Adorable cards!

I can’t wait to see how yours turn out! I am waiting (eek!) until after our pictures to decide on a card style. Crazy I know since that will give me only 3 days to choose and order. Ah well, here’s to living on the edge!

Love white elephant gift exchanges! We do it every year at J’s work party. It’s so much fun.

We’re looking at holiday cards right now. We used Minted for our save-the-dates and loved them. I love how they do the design competitions, too.

I adore your taste in all things beautiful! I’ve already been thinking about Christmas cards and invitations and now I will have to add Tiny Prints to my collection of all things adorable.

Your vistaprint Christmas card is priceless!

We have never done Christmas cards–I know–terrible!! But, we’re finally having family portraits taken this weekend, so, maybe this year is the year!

Does it make me a Scrooge that we have NEVER sent out x-mas cards? Yes? I thought so.

DANG IT!

Love the timeline card! Such a cool idea. I also love vistaprint! I got a lot of stuff for my wedding through them, and I agree that the matte finish is better. Even better, if you sign up with your email, you can get a lot of free stuff, including free postcards that could be used as postcards or attached to card stock to make a homemade card. A budget bride’s dream!

LOVE these! Super cute!! Yay for holidays :)

Those options are all stunning! Whatever you pick, I’m sure you’ll make it perfect!!!

I left you an award on my blog today… come see!

I order my company’s Christmas Cards thru Tiny Print as well

A few backs I went on a massive two week search for new company Christmas Cards and stumbled across Tiny Prints so now I use them every year.

The best place to go for holiday postcards is Postcards.com! Need invitations, thank you card’s or just spreading some cheer? Design your own cards by editing an existing template or by uploading your own photos. Have limited time? Postcards.com can mail them for you or send them to you. Either way it is fast, easy, and affordable!

I love this!! I love your Christmas Invitations…I’m looking for some for a friend of mine, and I’m so excited about finding something cute. Maybe I’ll find something on the site that you ordered yours from. Thanks for sharing!

I love the white elephant gift exchange card…
We were thinking of displaying several styles of Gift Exchange Cards on our White Elephant Gift Exchange blog..
Would it be OK to include yours? We would give you credit, of course!
If you would like to check out what we do: http://www.albinophantblog.com

Have a great holiday..
