It’s no secret that I love some Carrie Underwood. I even declared her to be my “girl crush” in a post earlier this year.
So Carrie (we’re best friends, so I can call her by her first name) and Brad Paisley hosted the CMA Awards on November 11 (which was my 27th birthday, by the way). Carrie had quite a few wardrobe changes during the three hour show, so I thought we’d discuss all of her gorgeous outfits here today. (They aren’t necessarily in the correct order.)

So much fun! Is #5 Missoni? It kind of has that look to it. Personally I wasn’t a big fan of her red carpet dress– I don’t really care for geometric shapes like that. My favorites would be her opening of the show dress and that cowboy cassanova performance outfit. Can you believe that shy girl from American Idol was swinging her hips in booty shorts?!?! Love it. Love her. (Love you!).

I love all the dresses — I love how they changed her hair for each look too – wow! I can’t imagine what it was like being backstage for that!!

We have the same taste! That is my fave as well, also the short metallic with the sleeves. If only I could have her makeover from American Idol until now
Although, I have a sneaking suspicion that she is not the biggest fan of eating. I read an InStyle article about her a couple years ago, where she was tearing into a Weight Watchers bar at 5 PM, and it was the first time she had eaten all day. I think eating a sandwich or two might be in order!
LOVE this post! So hard to pick just one favorite…her opening dress was so different and pretty, but I think #4 is my favorite.
But she pulls off the orange so well! I could never wear that much orange and look that good. I love Carrie

I loved all the dresses except her performance number. I felt the sequined hotpants were distracting…But I adored the other looks. She loves great in bright colors… and p.s. I adore her hair..so jealous.
Didn’t you leave out a great red (or maybe hot pink?) one shoulder dress? I think I remember that one early on in the show and loved it! It was hard to keep track, though, she had SOOO many!
It’s a toss-up between #2 and #4 but I think I’m going with #4. She looks absolutely amazing in ALL of them!!!!
My favorite is either #4 or #2. I really didn’t like her peformance outfit, it looked like underwear. Those were some beautiful outfits!
Love the orange dress as well as the gold sequin number. The performance dress- not so much. Put on some clothes, dear; you are too classy for that. Though, my husband didn’t mind. He adores her (especially her legs!!)

Thanks for posting this. I missed out on the show, so I didn’t get to see all of her looks. My vote would be for #2, what she wore to open the show. I also like orange too! It looks good with her hair and skintone.

Have to go with the orange because that is a tough color to pull off, and she looks amazing! Does she have a Reese Witherspoon expression on her face in that pic? So pretty. I love how her hair is styled with the dress too.

I liked ALL of them but I really liked the sweet dress and the green ruffles, but I did think it was kind of over the top to have so many dresses!

I actually like the opening dress one the best – didn’t much care for the red carpet one thought. She really can wear anything! I was on a plane with this was on TV, but I’m hoping to find it online somewhere this weekend so I can watch! I love Carrie too!
