I wanted to use ribbon this year but I had wrapped mine gently round and round.. I also wanted bows of the same ribbon.. It wasn't as much that I didn't like the 'round and round' of the ribbon, but it just didn't work like I wanted with the bows.. SOO..I saw yours and decided to go for the vertical streamers instead and I absolutely LOVE IT! My hubby keeps telling me over and over that he loves how the tree looks! I also collect nutcrackers! I LOOVE THEM!!! I had a 4 ft. tall one but accidentally didn't get it when I moved from my ex's years a go. :( I HAVE however gotten some gorgeous ones added to the collection since. LAST year..my mom got me one of my most favs! Its CLAIRE!!! A nutcracker of Claire herself and she is holding the little nutcracker soldier in one hand and the mouse king one in the other.. Its unbelievably cute! I also got a tall, thin snowman one. I will have to take some pics and email you to show you when I get them all out. Still working on getting them to the mantle.
