as if we needed an excuse to wear kelly green…

by Blue-Eyed Bride on March 13, 2010

One of my favorite things about living in Columbia is the annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival in 5 Points. We live steps away from the festival and love going every year. There’s also a parade, and in the past, we’ve loved taking Boudreaux to watch the parade with us. This year I couldn’t wait to bring Hudson to his first parade. We parked our BOB stroller in front of Kicks on Devine Street and had a great time!

I want to give a little shout-out to the amazingness that is Lands’ End Canvas. I placed an ordered the other day that included about 12 items and I got them for what it would have cost me to buy three items at J.Crew.

And the scarf I wore today (pictured above) is from Lands’ End Canvas. I think it’s so cute!

That is the most ADORABLE scarf!!!!!!! And did you know if you order stuff from Lands End that you don’t want or need to return… you can return it at Any Sears Store easy peasy! They take care of everything and it goes right back on your card…. (little trick I learned) !

Hey there,
I’m a long-time reader and am finally commenting! First of all, I LOVE your blog, your style, and your perspective! Second of all, you DO LOOK AMAZING in the photos above! Your hard work looks like it’s paying off. You have a beautiful family, thanks for letting us in on your life!

16 Lindsey March 13, 2010 at 7:51 pm

Cute!

17 Sarah March 13, 2010 at 7:53 pm

You do look really skinny (in a good way)! Very impressive for someone with a 9-month-old :) . I was immediately struck by how warm and sunny it looks in your pictures. Nothing but cold and rain here this weekend!

Just wanted to say that you look fab, but since I started reading your blog I always have thought you did. But, I know you’ve been going to the gym so wanted to say you look great! And, Lands End Canvas- what the heck is that?! First time I’ve been introduced and I just looked around their site and WOW, I think I have a new alternative to my favorite (but overly priced) J.Crew. Thanks for introducing me!

I wish our town had holiday parades…looks like so much fun! Kelly Green is everywhere right now…love it. I ordered the cutest dress from Land’s End Canvas and I adore it. My favorite thing…it has pockets. :) I think I will be wearing it with a green jacket on Easter (depending on the weather). There is no way you have 20 lbs to lose…like everyone else seemed to notice – you look tiny!

I just have to say… first, I never thought you needed to lose any weight, but I know we are all more critical of ourselves than the outside world is (well… most of the time…), but you look AMAZING! :) What a good looking family.

32 Elizabeth March 17, 2010 at 10:07 am

Erin, I love your blog! I have a six month old boy so I love to see what Hudson is up to- it is sort of a “preview” of upcoming events!! When I saw the parade pics I immediately noticed the SIPPY CUP! I guess that is just around the corner! I’m just now getting good at making bottles:)! Happy St. Patricks Day!
