mom-style monday: flats by enzo angiolini

by Blue-Eyed Bride on March 15, 2010

It’s no secret that I had to give up high heels in the third trimester of my pregnancy. My ankles were huge and my whole body was off balance. What I didn’t know, however, was that I’d struggle to master walking in high heels after Hudson was born. I usually only wear my pumps and stilettos on Saturday nights or Sunday mornings, but I always can’t wait to get them off.

Thank goodness the world of flat shoes is so kind! Seriously, there are some adorable flats. My closet is full of Tory Burch and J.Crew flats. Gotta say that any of the Tory Burch flats with elastic backs are God’s gift to mothers. They don’t rub. They don’t squeeze. They just rest on your heels. Amazing on your feet and it makes it so easy to move quickly around the house.

I’m also a huge Enzo Angiolini fan. In college and grad school, I’d always make the trip to Dillard’s to find a great pair of Enzos for an event. They never disappoint when it comes to comfort and they have timeless style. Even after years of wear, I always question my decision to donate an old pair of Enzos.

Look what I found for the Spring! I’m eyeing these three, completely affordable, pairs of flats by Enzo Angiolini.

These images are all from Zappos.com. Did y’all know that Zappos will always match the lowest price if you find the shoe somewhere else? And they always have free shipping– both ways. Three cheers for Zappos.

Those are all so adorable. I am deathly afraid of the first time I am pregnant, that my feet will grow. I am a total shoe freak and would have to give away hundreds of pairs!

The yellow flats are INCREDIBLE! I may or may not have them in “my cart” already– have your TB flats arrived?! Happy Monday.

Love the brown pair. I’ll have to try the elastic flats. I always assumed they would rub more. This totally makes me want to go to Dillard’s!

Also, I wanted to tell you that I got a momAgenda based on your recommendation. And I totally love it. I keep the schedule for myself and my husband and my twins so neatly organized. Thanks Erin!

Thank you for posting about the yellow Enzo’s…..I’ve been searching for the perfect yellow flat to wear with my rehearsal dinner dress. I’m wearing Manolo’s on the big day, so I wanted something flat and comfy for the night before. I’ve fallen in love with these: http://www.zappos.com/kate-spade-bow-citranella-soft-patent ….but the Enzo’s are less than half the price! Thanks!

WOOHOO FLATS! As a teacher I live in them. I haven’t tried Enzo’s but I’m totally going to go stalk them on Zappo’s. I love my TB reva’s but always have to break them in a little before they get super comfy on the heel. Mine always dig in real bad for about a month, but after they become comfy. Does anyone else have this problem?

22 Sam March 15, 2010 at 8:45 pm

I LOVE the turquoise. I wear nothing but flats. They are fabulous.

30 Danica March 17, 2010 at 11:50 pm

I love flats and wear them a ton at work. What do you think of the new tory burch flats. I am a little up in the air about them, I feel the they are so plane for the price. :/
