My girl crush, Carrie Underwood, won entertainer of the year for the second year in a row at the ACM awards last night. I know I’ve written about Carrie a couple of times, but I think she is so gifted and so beautiful. She’s also humble and grateful. And she always remembers to thank the most important people in her life that got her where she is today and never forgets to thank God. Todd and I are going to see her in concert in May right before we leave for our anniversary trip. I’m not sure which one of us is more excited.
I like country music a lot, but I wouldn’t call myself a “fan” of many groups. I’m more into the songs and if an artist or group has a lot of great songs then I’ll become a real fan. I am a huge fan of Carrie’s.
Carrie had a few wardrobe changes last night, and she hit a high note with all of them!

I watched the ACM awards too! I look forward to it each year along with all the different music awards shows. I enjoyed several performances last night including Toby Keith and Carrie Underwood. I loved all of Carrie’s outfits! She is one of my favorite music artists as well.

I love Carrie! When I lived in Norman, OK right after college my roommate and I would stop in Checotah every time we drove home to Arkansas to see if we could catch her “visiting.” There is a life-sized billboard on the interstate at the Checotah exit. I love her style!
Yes! Love, love, love her. Voted for her 1,000 times a night when she was on American Idol and would have voted for her 1,000 times for Entertainer of the Year last night if I still maintained the fervor for texting that I had in 2005.

LOVED IT! I thought she looked great! I was happy that Miranda Lambert and Lady A won! I am glad no one clapped for Leanne Rimes and I was a little worried about Nicole Kidmans outfit! Overall it was FANTASTIC but I am a country music fan!!!
I got to see Carrie Underwood perform Wednesday in my town of East Lansing, MI. She was amazing and you’ll L-O-V-E the show! A little note about her short dresses that she shared with all of us, she wears shorts underneath them so that no one can see up her dress or whatever! No wardrobe malfunctions for Carrie!

Missed the ACMs but SO glad Lady Antebellum won for “Need You Now” – love, love, love that song… and I chuckle to myself every time it comes on because who doesn’t have a good drunk-dial story?

Yes, I really like Carrie Underwood as well. She’s got a great voice. And yes, I was extremely worried about that mini dress!! She kept hiking up her leg during the number and that made me extremely nervous for her

LOVE Carrie! There isn’t a thing about her that seems like she’s a complete brat! I read in a Self magazine article that anytime she wears a little mini-dress she wears shorts underneath because she doesn’t want a wardrobe malfunction! I just feel like she wears exactly what I would if I had her body and money!
I love Carrie too, at least her fashion and hair! BUT (ugh everyone hates the but). I live in Nashville, and have countless friends who have served her at Tootsies, met her at a bar, seen her at Whole Foods/Target and they all have shared that shes less than nice. Like very less than nice. At first I didn’t want to believe it because she seems like such a sweet, all-American girl (amazing song btw), but I can’t ignore so many repeat encounters! But I’ll still love her hair and clothes. Hope that wasn’t too Debbie Downer- but I thought people should know (from a local girl).
