Nat Kat Designs Giveaway

by Blue-Eyed Bride on June 9, 2010

One of my favorite resources for Hudson’s party was Nat Kat Designs. Natalie went to Louisiana Tech, like I did, and we have a lot of mutual friends. She has made other things for Hudson in the past and I was so happy that she was willing to make some fun party decorations for us, too.

The Nat Kat Designs items at Hudson’s party:

The water bottle labels (I went back and removed the original label and replaced it with these. Natalie’s labels are adhesive labels)

The Green Eggs and Ham book cover painting

The 1-12 numbers for Hudson’s monthly monkey photos

The “Happy Birthday Hudson” banner on the mantle

The adorable Celebrate painting

To help continue celebrating Hudson’s birthday, Nat Kat Designs is offering a lucky Blue-Eyed Bride reader their very own, custom painted “Celebrate” sign. The winner will get to choose his or her colors for the sign.

To enter, leave a comment on this post just telling me what colors you’d like to use in your “Celebrate” sign. The winner will be announced next week!

You did a fabulous job on Hudson’s 1st birthday party–so cute! If I were to win, I’d like to have a “Celebrate” sign in chocolate brown, red, and maybe a tan/taupe color. Great giveaway!

156 Stephanie June 10, 2010 at 11:20 am

Since I’m in the middle of planning Emery’s first birthday, this would be the perfect item to include in the upcoming celebration. I would choose lime green and pink — the colors for her birthday party. The sign would help us celebrate her 1st birthday and the fact that we will have almost been away from the Children’s hospital for one year too (since she was admitted at 3 weeks). Love all the beautiful decorations from Hudson’s first birthday — you certainly have a gift!

157 Rachel June 10, 2010 at 11:28 am

163 Danielle June 10, 2010 at 11:47 am

First, I have to say that Hudson’s birthday party looks fabulous! It gives me lots of ideas for when I start getting ready for Baby A’s 1st birthday.

I think for the celebrate sign, I like the green background with a couple shades of pink instead of orange.

164 Jen Hoelscher June 10, 2010 at 11:47 am

This is my first time to comment on your blog. I just found it the other night and LOVE your son’s birthday theme. It so reminds me of me with our now 5 year old. I dressed him the exact same way you dress Hudson.
I LOVE to plan my children’s parties. I like to coordinate everything too, I match their outfits to the theme every year. This year Brett had a tool themed party with “build” your own nachos. Our twin daughters had a Tea par”tea” and I made them matching tutus in the party colors.
The CELEBRATE sign is just precious and I would love one in chocolates, golds and black to match our home.
I look forward to following your blog and seeing all the cute stuff you continue to do!

My grandbabies call me Mimi.
To them that’s how I’m known.
I’d love to host such a celebration,
but can’t do it on my own.
Hudson’s birthday party had quite the theme.
I could not, could not
come up with such a scheme.
I’ve thought and thunk, and now I think
My third granddaughter would like purple and pink.
To have such a bash is a really neat plan.
Everyone invited
would think it oh so grand!
So thank you, thank you for reading my post.
I hope you like my comments most.
