I’d like to introduce all of you to a friend of mine.

Cetaphil: tried and true works best!

Is there ever a time in our lives when we can stop worrying about our skin? We worry about too much sun. We worry about wrinkles. We worry about break-outs. Then we worry about oily skin or dry skin.

Remembering to take care of my skin has become so important to me, but I always get really overwhelmed with all of the options. I was recently given the opportunity to review Cetaphil products, and I was so excited because within the past six months I had become a loyal Cetaphil customer.

{Giveaway} Day 11 of Favorite Things: Large Utility Tote from Thirty-One Gifts

The large utility tote from Thirty-One Gifts had to be one of the favorite things this year. I have three of these bags and I use them for everything!

I used it as a beach bag. I use it to take food to people’s houses because it holds dishes nicely. I use it to hold toys on road trips and I used it during the Singing Christmas Tree for my wardrobe bag every night. It’s just the perfect bag!

It comes in lots of different patterns and colors and even some team colors. I need the Gamecock version for tailgating next fall!

In light of this weekend’s tragic events, the giveaway schedule was postponed. We’ll be posting days 10 & 11 today and day 12 on Wednesday.

{Giveaway} Day 8 of Favorite Things: Low Country Luxe “High Cotton” Candle

For our first wedding anniversary, Todd and I visited Savannah, Georgia. I was about 8 months pregnant with Hudson at the time. We had a great trip trying different restaurants, sight seeing, and doing some occasional shopping.

We went into The Paris Market on Broughton Street and I instantly fell in love with that store. I could have stayed in there for hours just looking at all the different, beautiful things. Every time I turned a corner I found something else that was just so unique and wonderful.

This was the day I found Low Country Luxe candles, which is our Favorite Thing for today.

Low Country Luxe candles are made in Savannah and have many fragrant southern botanical scents to choose from. My personal favorite scent is “High Cotton.” It smells of citrus trees, dogwood, tea olive spiked with lemon and lime, white grapefruit, and peach.

It is such a clean, fresh scent, and it has been my favorite year-round candle ever since I first smelled it.

My friend, Wendy, is the writer of the blog A Southern Accent. Her blog was one of the very first blogs I ever read, and I just love her. Today’s Favorite Thing is something that Nina introduced me to last Christmas.

The Coton Colors Story of Luke ornament set has become a favorite in our home for Christmastime. I love to read the gospel of Luke every December. I remember memorizing it in elementary school, and I’ve loved it ever since as my “favorite” for the Christmas story.

These gorgeous hand-painted ornaments have beautiful illustrations and also included the verses from the book of Luke. The ornaments tell the story of the birth of Jesus. Each ornament comes in its own package and has a pretty coordinating ribbon.
